The ŠKODA Citigo has just added to its trophy cabinet after being named Best City Car in the annual Sunday Times Top 100 Cars.

Milton Keynes, 21st October 2013 - The influential guide is drawn up each year by The Sunday Times Driving editorial team, who rate each car for value, performance and entertainment.

In awarding the Citigo with the City Car award, The Sunday Times judges commented, “We chose the ŠKODA because we judge it to be the best value, a more important consideration in this class than any other. It’s fun to angle around city streets, and its lively engine heightens the entertainment.”

Since its launch in 2012, the Citigo has collected a raft of industry titles, including Auto Express Car of the Year and Best City Car by What Car?

Alasdair Stewart, Brand Director for ŠKODA UK, said: “We’re delighted that The Sunday Times has bestowed its top City Car honour on the Citigo. It’s a car that perfectly embodies ŠKODA’s philosophy of delivering high quality products with attractive designs, at extremely affordable prices.”

The Citigo range starts from £7,990 OTR and is available in three-and five-door forms and with the option of two frugal engines. The range consists of four trim levels and is currently available from the SE trim and above with 0% APR representative, up to three years free servicing and monthly payments from just £69 for the Citigo SE 3D 1.0 MPI 60PS model.
