The measures to lower the fuel consumption and emissions of the ŠKODA Superb are:

- Low rolling resistance tyres with the higher recommended pressure,

- Brake energy recovery,

- Start-Stop system,

- Gear change recommendation.

The aerodynamic body modifications comprise of lowering the ride height by 14mm (15mm for Combi). The liftback variant is also equipped with the bootlid spoiler. Both solutions improve the air flow and reduce the drag.

 

Gear change recommendation advises driver to change up or down in the right moment, reducing the engine load and lowering the fuel consumption.
