ŠKODA UK has launched a new competitive fixed price service plan for cars aged three to eight years old. Costing £349 (including VAT) as a one-off payment, the latest competitive servicing package allows customers to budget in advance for routine servicing and have the assurance that any work is carried out by ŠKODA-trained technicians using only approved parts.
Milton Keynes, 7th May 2014 - Available at the majority of the vehicle manufacturer’s 134 retailers in the UK, the fixed service plan includes two annual MOT tests and a major and minor service. Both offer the replacement of filters, the top up of screenwash and antifreeze, software enhancements, a full vehicle road test which looks at steering alignment, clutch and braking operation, engine performance, suspension noise and driving controls, in addition to the inspection of all lights, tyres and bodywork. The fixed service plan allows ŠKODA owners to save a total of £107 (including VAT)* and drivers who select the package when buying an approved used vehicle from ŠKODA Finance can take advantage of a further £174 saving, paying only £175 (including VAT) instead of £349 (including VAT).

Customers may choose when to use any of the services or MOTs included in the package before the car is eight years old. In addition, all parts installed during repairs or servicing come with a two-year warranty as standard and ŠKODA technicians use the very latest equipment and technology to ensure that owners are provided with the highest possible standard of work.

Mike Embleton, Service & Parts Programmes Manager for ŠKODA UK, comments: “This is the first time that we have introduced a specific fixed plan for this age bracket so that drivers of older ŠKODA vehicles can take advantage of our highly competitive servicing prices. It also means that our customers have peace of mind that many of the regular bills are already paid for and that any work is conducted by fully-trained ŠKODA personnel using only genuine parts.”

He adds: “When the time comes for customers to sell the vehicle, a ŠKODA-stamped service book coupled with a solid record from the franchise network will make it an even more attractive proposition to potential buyers.”
